Nestled in the beautiful green valley of Warwick, New York Stirrup Some Fun was founded in 2019. Our unique events welcome riders of all abilities who are looking to try something new and different with horses and most of all, have fun !
We offer an incredible variety of unique events, at various beautiful locations with qualified staff who are committed to the enjoyment and safety of all our customers. MEET OUR HERD
Freckles - Rescued November 2019
Freckles is a 20 year old Mustang mare rescued from the auction. She's a beautiful flea-bitten grey (light grey coat with tiny spots, hence her name). As she is older and quite the little handful, Freckles is not ridden. She keeps baby Bella in line , since she is quite the bossy pants! We love her whether she can be ridden or not, and her beauty is something to behold!

Dara
Dara started riding at the age of six. She has been training students since 1995, focusing mainly on beginner and intermediate hunt seat. Through her years of teachings, she has taught camp and organized schooling shows as well as group and private lessons. Working with both children and adult riders, she is passionate about developing basics and proper riding techniques and is also enthusiastic about the love of the horses themselves. Looking for ways to increase access to horses for the casual rider, Stirrup Some Fun LLC was born.
Fiona - Rescued November 2019
Fiona is a 4 year old Quarter Horse cross mare rescued from the auction. We do not know what she is crossed with. Bella loves life and has a quirky and funny personality. She loves to play and is the sweetest little girl. Fiona is currently and trying and is doing very well! We believe this girl will be a super star! She truly has a very special personality.
