FAQS

Q: Do I need any riding experience for your events?

A: No, our events are catered to riders of all abilities. We can cater to your level of experience.

Q: What are your COVID rules?

A: Masks are currently required for all events except while riding. When refreshments are served, please remain seated and socially distant to enjoy your snacks. If you are symptomatic or believe you have been exposed, please contact us to reschedule your ride.

Q: How do you decide what size horse a person should ride? Can I pick which horse I want to ride?

A: Size is less important than ability, riders are first matched with their mount by their abilities - a beginner will ride a more seasoned, calmer horse, while an advanced rider can ride a younger or a more frisky horse. You can always request a certain horse, but we cannot always guarantee that horse's availability, or it may not be an appropriate choice for your skill level.

Q: Freckles was bitten by fleas?

A: Flea-bitten is a term for a grey colored horse with tiny spots, which look like freckles. Her name comes from her color!

Q: You only have two horses available?

A: Freckles and Bella are our rescue horses. They are our models for the Ponies 'n Paint, but we do not use them for riding in our events. All riding events take place at other farms and we use their horses. Check each event schedule for locations.

Q: Are your events suitable for special needs?

A: Any of our non-riding events are suitable for those with special needs. For riding events, please contact us and we will contact the event location with any questions or concerns.
